Cancellation Policy (Retreat)

We take your card details when you book. Your card won’t be charged unless a cancellation fee applies.

To cancel, email us at hello@banubanu.com. Cancellations must be in writing.

• More than 10 days before arrival: No charge. Any deposit you’ve paid will be refunded in full.
  10 days or less before arrival: We’ll charge the full cost of your booking to your card. Any deposit you’ve paid will go toward this charge.
• Changing your dates: You can change your travel dates for free, if there’s availability. If you later cancel the new booking, cancellation fees may apply.
• Credit option: Instead of receiving a refund, you can use any money you’ve paid as credit toward a future booking.

Conditions

1. All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax).
2. Banubanu reserves the right to alter the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances or cultural reasons.
3. Banubanu accepts no responsibility for any loss of property or damage to property.
4. Banubanu will not be held accountable for any personal injury or illness to the client during the course of your stay at Banubanu Beach Retreat.
5. Banubanu recommends that all clients take out adequate travellers’ insurance to cover:
   • Costs arising from their cancellation of a booking due to unforeseen circumstances
   • Loss and damage to property.
   • Personal injury and illness.
6. By booking the program you are acknowledging that you understand and agree to these conditions.
7. This is a strictly enforced no BYO alcohol policy at the retreat and no alcohol to be consumed at the Lodge
8. Guests are advised to have a reasonable level of mobility to ensure a safe disembarkation from the transfer boat upon arrival at Bremer Island.

Child Policy

1. Children under the age of 12 are not able to stay overnight at the retreat however are welcome for day trips / Bremer Island Escapes. There is no minimum age limit for children staying at the Lodge
2. Banubanu will occasionally run “family only” specials during some school holiday periods where this condition will be waived for those promotions only
3. Children 12 years and older are charged at the adult rate.
4. For the Retreat, maximum bedding configuration allows for 1 adult + 2 children* in the Beachside Bungalow and Oceanview Penthouses and 2 adults + 2 children in the Oceanview Penthouse (1) which has a sofa bed.
5. For the Lodge, maximum bedding configuration allows for 2 adults + 1 child in all rooms
6. Exception are toddlers still in a cot bed where parents will need to provide cots

Rollaway beds are charged at the additional guest rate per person per night.
